Stories from TChik...
TChik is a pseudonym passed down through generations—born from a grandfather, carried by a mother, shaped by mentors, and affirmed by community.
I write from hope and from a deep belief in people. As I often say: it’s about the people—it’s always about the people. My stories live in the quiet spaces between the big moments—the ones that shape how we understand ourselves and each other. Friendship, love, forgiveness, empathy, passion, courage, and hope sit between the lines.
Influenced by stoicism, constructivism, existential thought, and a commitment to equity and inclusion, my work explores what it means to try—to make things better, even when the path is unclear.
Stories fill the gaps that history leaves out, that politics reshapes, and that news moves past too quickly. They are how we come to understand the world, each other, and the legacy we leave behind.
I write the stories I love—stories that invite you to see, hear, and feel what I’ve experienced. Because no art is just entertainment; it’s a reflection of who we are and the time we live in—and a tool for understanding what it means to be human
Explore what you wish. I hope you find something worth holding onto.
